Mark Workshop Skövde is a department within the Army Staff, and we have about 190 employees. We primarily perform maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment but also for the air force and navy, as well as providing technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, renovations, repairs, manufacturing, disassembly, modifications, and repair technical analyses.

You will belong to the Tank/Weapon detail and work closely with 3 other weapon technicians. You will be part of a team that works together and supports each other. Everyone is equally important, and the work environment encourages collaboration where knowledge is shared and supported.
Main Responsibilities
As a weapon technician, you will primarily work with preventive/corrective maintenance/repairs of weapons and optics.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Two or three-year technical upper secondary education or equivalent as assessed by the employer
- General computer skills

Since the work largely involves working independently and with customers, it is important that you can take your own initiative and that you are service-oriented.

DESIRABLE
- Experience in maintenance of weapons, optics, or precision mechanics.
- Previous experience working as a technician or mechanic within technical services
- Experience and knowledge of workshop operations and equipment maintenance in the Armed Forces
- Forklift license
- Experience working in PRIO/LIFT

The position is physically demanding, involving heavy lifting. The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally. The position is a civilian position.
